Rich, classic and effortlessly sophisticated, our Navy Mulberry Silk Pillowcase adds depth and polish to your bed while giving your skin and hair a smoother surface to rest on.
Made from 19 momme Grade A mulberry silk, it feels cool, soft and fluid against the skin. Silk’s naturally smooth texture helps reduce friction overnight, which can help minimise hair frizz, pillow creases and that rougher feeling you can get from everyday pillowcases.
The deep navy shade is designed to pair with our Navy Lazy Linen bedding, creating a beautiful contrast of relaxed linen texture and smooth silk luxury.
Perfect for: classic bedrooms, deeper colour schemes, luxury gifting and matching with Navy Lazy Linen bedding.
Size and care: generously cut to fit both standard and queen pillows. Machine washable on a cool, delicate cycle (a mesh wash bag helps), then air dry away from direct sunlight. See our silk care guide for the full routine.

Better skin by morning
Cotton absorbs up to 27x its weight in moisture, pulling hydration and night serums straight off your face while you sleep. Silk does the opposite. Its non-absorbent surface lets your skin retain moisture and your skincare actually work overnight. The result: fewer sleep creases, less puffiness, and visibly fresher skin from the first morning.
Healthier hair without trying
Silk has a friction coefficient of just 7.4%, compared to cotton's 40%+. That means your hair glides across the pillow instead of catching, tangling and breaking. You'll notice less frizz, fewer split ends, and far less bedhead especially noticeable on curly, textured and colour-treated hair.
Naturally cool, naturally clean
Mulberry silk thermoregulates with your body, staying cool in summer and warm in winter. No more flipping the pillow searching for the cool side. The silk's natural protein structure also repels dust mites, bacteria and mould without any chemical treatments, making it ideal for sensitive skin, allergies and conditions like eczema and rosacea.
Why 19 momme matters
Momme measures silk density. Cheap silk pillowcases use 16 momme or less, they feel thin and wear out within months. The Silky Silks pillowcase is 19 momme: substantial enough to drape beautifully and last 3–5 years, breathable enough to sleep cool year-round.

Wake Up to Better Skin and Hair
Silk has long been the beauty industry’s best-kept secret and for good reason. Its moisture retaining properties keep your skin and hair hydrated, reducing dryness and dullness overnight. Whether you’re aiming for frizz-free hair in the morning or simply seeking the softest place to rest your head, our Mulberry Silk Pillowcase makes the ordinary act of sleeping feel effortlessly luxurious.
Silk vs Cotton Pillowcase
Your pillowcase is the surface your skin and hair spend 8 hours pressed against every night.

Silk creates less friction than cotton or linen, meaning less tugging on your skin and hair overnight. This can help reduce sleep creases, skin irritation and hair breakage, especially if you already use products like the Mayfair Gel Pillow, which also supports temperature regulation.
Not at all. Silk is naturally breathable and temperature regulating. It helps disperse heat and moisture rather than trapping it. If you tend to overheat, pairing your silk pillowcase with the Mayfair Cooling Gel Pillow or our bamboo duvet cover can give you a light, airy setup that stays cool through the night.
Bamboo is incredibly breathable and great for everyday comfort, but silk takes it one step further when it comes to smoothness and skincare benefits. If you already enjoy bamboo bedding, adding a silk pillowcase can be a nice upgrade. It gives your pillow a premium feel and offers extra benefits for skin and hair.
Silk does require a bit of care, but it is not difficult. Wash on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent, then air dry. The key is avoiding heat and harsh chemicals. Our mulberry silk pillowcases are durable and designed for everyday use, so with basic care they stay smooth and soft for a long time.
Yes, despite the smooth texture, a good silk pillowcase will stay put. Ours are cut to fit snugly and include envelope-style closures so they don’t slide around. They work especially well with structured pillows like the Mayfair Cooling Gel Pillow, which holds its shape and gives the pillowcase a firm base.
